Timing belt removing step for automobile engine (Dieselpartsworld)        2016-01-15   

1 disconnect the battery negative cable.
2 disconnect intake air temperature sensor connector.
3 disconnect the intake pipe from the throttle body.
4 open the trachea from the valve cover.
5 remove the air cleaner housing bolt.
6 remove the air cleaner housing.
7 remove right front wheel.
8 remove the right front wheel anti splash cover.
9 removing engine accessory drive belt and coiled engine accessory drive belt clear path
10 remove the crankshaft pulley bolt.
11 remove crankshaft pulley.
12 remove the front timing belt cover bolt.
13 remove the front timing belt cover.
14 remove the front and lower timing belt cover bolt.
15 remove the front and lower timing belt cover.
16 remove power steering pump mounting bolt.
17 installing crankshaft belt pulley bolt.
18 to turn the crankshaft in a clockwise direction until the timing mark on the crankshaft gear is aligned with the notch at the bottom of the belt cover.
19 loosen coolant pump bolt.
20 timing belt adjuster (special tool No.: J42492-A) counter clockwise rotation of the coolant pump, release timing belt tension.
21 remove the timing belt from the rear of the power steering pump.
